  1. Only open to residents of the United Kingdom and Ireland aged 18 or over, except employees of the organizer, News Corp UK & Ireland Limited and their affiliates, affiliates or subsidiaries, their families, agents or any other person (s) associated with the competition, including third-party promotional partners.
  2. The competition ends at 23.59 on 28 MAY 2022 (“end date”). Entries received after the end date are not counted.
  3. One access per person. Bulk, auto-generated, or third-party entries are invalid.
  4. To participate, click on the ‘click to enter’ link on the TELL ME YOUR LIES page before the end date.
  5. There will be 10 winners.
  6. The winners will be selected at random from among all valid entries for this contest received before the end date.
  7. Winners will be notified by email or telephone or by using the other contact details provided by the winner within fourteen days of the closing date. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner within the specified time. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, the organizer reserves the right to withdraw another winner from the valid / correct entries received before the final date.
  8. The prize is a copy of TELL ME YOUR LIES in hardcover, paperback or e-book format, at the organizer’s discretion.
  9. The prize is non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives to the prize in whole or in part.
  10. The promoter of this competition is News Group Newspapers Ltd (publishers of The Sun) (the “Promoter”).

* GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COMPETITIONS

  1. These terms and conditions apply to all competitions (unless and to the extent) the competition states otherwise.
  2. The winner is responsible for ensuring that they are able to accept the prize as stated and in accordance with these terms and conditions. In the event that they are unable to do so, the organizer reserves the right to withdraw the prize again.
  3. Admission is free, but attendees should be aware that they may be subject to data charges depending on their own individual Internet access arrangements, if access is online or by email.
  4. An eligible participant must be an individual, must participate on their own behalf and must submit a contribution in the form requested by the organizer during this campaign, including their name, address and email address.
  5. By participating, all qualified participants agree to abide by each and all of these terms and conditions. Misleading or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry. Where a contest involves a voting process: It is not permitted to offer or receive an incentive to vote, and will invalidate the voting and may disqualify the recipient of the voting. The Promoter reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these terms and conditions. The organizer reserves the right to change these terms and conditions. Any changes will be posted on the organizer’s website (the “Website”).
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to publish entries (including portions of entries) in addition to the winning entry, and publication does not necessarily mean that the entrant has won a prize.
  7. Participants retain the copyright to their submissions, but by participating, all entrants grant the organizer a worldwide royalty-free perpetual license to edit, publish and use each post in all media (including print and online) for advertising and news purposes. The Promoter reserves the right to publish entries (including portions of entries), although publication does not necessarily mean that the entrant has won a prize.
  8. There is no cash or other alternative to the stated prize and the prize is non-transferable and no part or parts of the prize can be replaced by other benefits, items or additions.
  9. Winners may be asked to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
  10. The organizer’s decision is final and binding on the participants. No correspondence will be entered into.
  11. The Promoter is not responsible for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind or lost or inaccessible network connections that may restrict or prohibit a qualified entrant from participating in the Contest. Except for death or personal injury resulting from the actions or omissions of the organizer or its employees, the organizer is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the winner’s (or their guest’s) enjoyment of the prize.
  12. By participating, any subsequent prize winners agree to allow free use of their names, photographs and general placements for advertising and news purposes during this and future promotions by the organizer or any affiliate or subsidiary of News Corp UK & Ireland Limited.
  13. Use of personal data received by the organizer during the campaign is subject to the privacy policy found on the website. The names of the winners can be published on the website.
  14. Completion and submission of a registration form or email will be considered acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, change or replace the competition at any time (including change of prizes) if a competition in our opinion is not able to be conducted as specified. The Promoter reserves the right to reimburse a prize of equal value in the event that circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable.

  17. Competition rules published in the organizer’s publications (including social media, if applicable) or on the website form part of these rules.
