United, Singapore Airlines expands Codeshare

Star Alliance members United Airlines and Singapore Airlines are extending their codeshare agreement, the companies announced on Monday.

Once completed, United passengers will be able to connect via Singapore’s network to nine new destinations, including Brunei’s capital, Bandar Seri Begawan; Siem Reap and Cambodia; Kuala Lumpur and Penang in Malaysia; Denpasar (Bali), Jakarta and Surabaya in Indonesia; Perth, Australia; and males in the Maldives.

Singapore Airlines customers will be able to connect on United flights from Los Angeles to Austin, Baltimore, Boise, Cleveland, Denver, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Reno and Sacramento.

Codeshare flights will be gradually made available for sale through the airlines’ respective reservation channels, subject to regulatory approvals.
