UFC 274 was quite an event. A new champion was crowned by women’s straw weight in one of the worst title fights in the history of promotion. And while the fights before and after Rose Namajunas and Carla Esparza overwhelmed everyone, the fact that Charles Oliveira could not gain weight means that the lightweight division does not have a champion right now.
Here’s a look at all the changes this week, which mostly came in at 155 and in the women’s divisions.
Men’s P4P – Oliveira moves one place up to four and drops Francis Ngannou to five. Aljamain Sterling moves one up to a draw of nine with Jon Jones. Robert Whittaker is up one to 14, which pushes Brandon Moreno down to 15.
Heavyweight – No changes.
Light Heavyweight – No changes.
Medium weight – No changes.
Welterweight – No changes.
Lightweight – Everything is turned upside down. With the belt loose, almost everyone moved down somewhere. Oliveira is, of course, the best candidate. Dustin Poirier falls to two. Gaethje is down two to sit in the three-position. Islam Makhachev is down to four. Beneil Dariush drops two places to six. Rafael dos Anjos is down one to seven. Ferguson drops three to ten. Rafael Fiziev and Arman Tsurukyan drop one each to 11 and 12. Mateusz Gamrot drops two to 14. Brad Riddell holds on to 15th place.
Featherweight – No changes.
Bantam weight – No changes.
Fly weight – Alexandre Pantoja moves back to a draw of three with Askar Askarov. Brandon Royval’s quick win at the weekend moves him up to four, pushing Alex Perez to five.
Women P4P – Julianna Pena rises one to three, with Thug Rose moving down to four. The new champion Esparza is up two to six. Jessica Andrade and Holly Holm go down one spot each to seven and eight, respectively. Mackenzie Dern and Irene Aldana turn the 12th and 13th places.
Women’s bantamweight – Pannie Kianzad passes Miesha Tate to the ninth place, and drops the former champion to ten.
Women’s flyweight – Tracy Cortez enters the rankings for the first time as a 15-year-old.
Women straw weight – Esparza sits at the top of the division. Namajunas is the number one challenger where Zhang Weili falls to two. Yan Xiaonan moves up in a draw five with Andrade.
