  • Donald Trump came up with remarks that questioned Joe Biden’s ability to lead during a rally in Ohio on Saturday.

  • He referred to several viral moments involving Biden, who were captured on video.

  • Trump also said the country was led by “an insane group of extremists”.

Following a dispute over federal water flow restrictions for shower heads, former President Donald Trump decided to take an excavation at President Joe Biden’s during his Saturday meeting in Ohio.

“We’ve never had anything like this, and unfortunately we have a president right now who has absolutely no idea what the hell is going on,” Trump said.

“Our country is going to hell,” Trump said. “He shakes hands with the air. He walks around a little confused – I would say it’s not good – and takes orders from the Easter bunny.”

Trump apparently referred to a couple of Biden’s recent viral moments, including one in which a person in an Easter bunny costume appeared to be directing him as he greeted supporters.

He also referred to a video where Biden sticks his open hand out after a speech. Some said it looked like he was trying to shake hands with the air.

Fact-checkers have since said that Biden actually gestured to a crowd.

Trump urged voters to vote Republican for not wanting to keep America in a “death spiral of crime” and said America was driven by a “disturbed group of extremists” while criticizing Biden’s energy policy. “We’re going for liquid gold and they want us to buy from Venezuela,” Trump said.

Representatives of Biden and Trump did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
