Thousands more people are needed to fill a number of jobs at this year’s Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The positions range from starting roles to leadership positions, as the eyes of the whole world focus on the other city.
Three members of the Games’ recruitment team at a recent job fair came with the revelation, saying the application process had been made as easy as possible to meet demand.
Ellie Higgins, James Brooks and Amber Aitken (pictured) said: “There are some great opportunities available that, in addition to providing employment, will look good on people’s resumes and can lead to other things after the games are over.”
