An alligator in Florida was caught on camera in an attempt to take a bite of a GoPro camera used by a wildlife photographer.
Bobby Wummer, a wildlife photographer, was trying to get a close-up of the alligator while on the Big Cypress National Preserve as the alligator took his drag after the camera, according to FOX 35 Orlando.
Fortunately, Wummer used a 12-foot extension rod for the GoPro and kept a safe distance from the alligator.

“I was lucky and did not play tug of war, which probably would have been the end of the camera! The alligator then realized the camera was not food and he let go of the camera,” Wummer said.
GoPro has only minor damage as a result of the incident.
