“Tadweer”: an integrated action plan to receive Eid Al-Fitr in Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Waste Management Center “Tadweer” announced the development of an integrated work plan to receive the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, as part of its eagerness to continue to provide its services in accordance with the highest standards and approved standards, and in a way that meets the expected increase in the amount of waste.
Dr. Salem Khalfan Al Kaabi, Director – General of the Center, said: “The Center is preparing to deal with the expected increase in the amount of waste under the blessed Eid Al-Fitr by completing the development of advance plans and intensifying the efforts of the working groups to ensure cleanliness. of mosques, Eid chapels, streets, public parks, event venues and various areas Public health in the emirate, while ensuring all environmental requirements and in coordination with the relevant authorities, in addition to providing public health pest control services in the emirate, in line with the center’s vision on achieving a sustainable waste management system and combating public health pests in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Waste collection and transport
In terms of waste collection and transport services, the center will work under the blessed Eid al-Fitr to improve public hygiene services, including manual and automatic sweeping services, and the collection and transport of waste from public slaughterhouses by increasing the number of cleaning assistants by an average of 261 additional workers and containers, with an average of 254 additional containers, as well as increasing the number of cleaning equipment and tools to ensure the delivery of municipal and solid waste collection and transport and general cleaning in various parts of the emirate, especially vital places such as large markets, commercial and residential areas , mosques and Eid chapels.
