Side-by-side Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Fold 4 show the images a greatly improved folder

Samsung may have been the pioneer in folding phones, but unlike many of its competitors’ offerings, its flexible handset still has a fold, and if a new leaked image is something to go for, The Galaxy Z Fold 4’s main screen will also have wrinkles.
Samsung’s foldable handset has come a long way and per report, the company expects sales to more than double this year to 15 million units. For $ 1,800 Galaxy Z Fold 3 is about $ 200 cheaper than OG Fold. It is also lighter, more durable and has an IPX8 rating for waterproofing. The third generation Fold also has smoother screens, supports the S Pen and has a camera sensor under the screen.
Its main screen still has a fairly prominent fold, but it’s not as bad as it may sound, as most reviewers say it does not bother them. The fold apparently exists because of the way the hinge is designed, which explains why phones from Chinese companies that have a water drop hinge do not suffer from the same problem.

Galaxy Z Fold 4 is also expected to have a curl, but we have heard rumors that it will less visible, 20 percent more shallow to be exact.
Well known delicious Isunivers has today posted side-by-side photos – taken at the same angle – to show us how Fold 4’s folders compare to Fold 3’s. The fold is actually less obvious and it seems like a bigger improvement than we expected.

Galaxy Z Fold 4 specifications

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to be a respectable upgrade over the Fold 3. While it is likely to have the same overall design, the screens will be wider for better usability and the phone will be equipped with much better camera sensors which should deliver level results with advanced phones like Galaxy S22.

This should greatly increase its chances of breaking out of the niche market into the mainstream, as foldable phones are not known for having good cameras despite their high prices. So it is safe to assume that Fold 4 will be among those best phones of the year.
Fold 4 will probably be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and will pack a 4,400mAh battery.

Samsung will reportedly announce the phone on August 10 during the Unpacked event. It will share the spotlight with the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series.
