Seattle Times promotes Pulkkinen as corporate editor

That The Seattle Times has promoted assistant corporate editor Levi Pulkkinen to business editor.
He joined the Times in 2021.
Pulkkinen has been freelancing for more than three years. His reporting has appeared in US News & World Report, The GuardianHechinger report and GeekWire, as well as Yes! Magazine, High Country News, Next townand The appeal.
Before becoming self-employed, he worked as a senior editor at SeattlePI, where he also volunteered for 11 years. He also worked on The Skagit Valley Herald newspaper.
Pulkkinen holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University.
