Ringo Starr postpones concert, cites illness, but it’s not Covid-19 – Deadline

The busiest 82-year-old in show business, Ringo Starr, is forced to cancel a date due to illness.

The former Beatles drummer, who keeps an extra busy schedule and recently won an Emmy for his work on the documentary Come back, has postponed his show tonight at the Mystic Lake Casino in Minnesota.

The casino stated in a tweet, “Ringo is sick and was hoping to perform, hence the late announcement. But it has affected his voice. Ringo does not have COVID-19.”

Starr tours with his “All-Starr Band,” a rotating cast of top musicians. The 2022 lineup includes Toto’s Steve Lukather, Men at Works Colin Hay, Edgar Winter, Average White Band’s Hamish Stewart, drummer Gregg Bissonette and Kansas’ Warren Ham.
