To be successful as an entrepreneur, it’s important to have a handbook on how to scale your business and process feedback, according to Zuleyka Strasner, founder and CEO of Zero Grocery, a plastic-free online grocery store operating in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
“Starting a business, scaling a business is unusually tough,” Strasner said. “I was told that many times, but until you live it, you do not understand how all-consuming this is and how really difficult it is.”
Zero Grocery was launched in 2019 and uses recyclable food storage containers and delivers in two hours or less. The Bay Area-based start-up has thousands of customers and had revenue of about $ 500,000 a month in 2021. It has raised $ 16.5 million.
