Happy Mother’s Day! Unfortunately, the weather this weekend has not been as cooperative as we would like for all the moms out there. A really odd storm system has kept us cool, cloudy and wet for a few days. On Monday, we will begin to see some gradual improvement as temperatures rise to more seasonal values. This trend will continue as some fairly pleasant spring weather returns in the middle of the week.

For tonight: The sky will remain cloudy tonight with a slow clearing trend overnight. A fairly cool air mass will also settle in, with lows falling to the upper 30s to low 40s throughout the region. The wind will be from the north with 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow (Monday): Sunshine will finally rule the day on Monday after a slightly cloudy start. Despite a fairly strong northeast wind of 10-20 mph, temperatures will still rise to mid to the upper 60s in the area. Some clouds are building in again overnight tomorrow, but it will not be that cool, with lows until the mid-40s.
