PM Update: Nice weather through the weekend

Average highs for this time of year are still in the upper 80s, so today’s highs in the low and mid 80s were a treat, especially when you factor in the much lower humidity levels. Things will get even better on Saturday and Sunday looks pretty good too.

For tonight: Today’s bubbling cumulus clouds in fair weather will subside with the lack of daytime warming. Under clear skies, lows will range from the mid-50s in the coolest spots well outside of DC, to the low or mid-60s downtown. Humidity is more or less gone as far as comfort is concerned. Winds will be from the north at about 5 mph.

Tomorrow (Saturday): It’s hard to think of a day much better than the potential of this one. Will it be realized? Good chance. There will be few if any clouds, low humidity levels and temperatures around 80 or down into the low 80s for high temperatures. Almost perfect. A light northerly wind will only increase the effect.

Sunday: The clouds will be more than Saturday, but we should still see some sun during the day. Highs will be around 80. The chance for rain may increase as time goes on, but that risk should be mostly or entirely after sunset. It will be wetter to start the work week.
