She has also spoken out on issues such as the recall of Governor Gavin Newsom, her mother who ripped off President Trump’s speech on the state of the Union and San Francisco Giants’ owner Charles B. Johnson donate to rep. Lauren Boeberts Campaign, R-Colo.

She was briefly suspended from Twitter in 2017 when she tweeted that “Rand Paul’s neighbor was right,” referring to when the senator’s neighbor attacked him in his courtyard, leaving him with several broken ribs. Pelosi later deleted the tweet.

The annual White House correspondent dinner returned to Washington, DC, last week after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. President Biden admired the audience with jokes about his age and low approval ratings, making a departure from the habit of his predecessor, who refused to attend the event.
