O’Brien leaves Money for new opportunities

Elizabeth O’Briena deputy editor at Money, left the publication last week for a new opportunity starting in June.

She oversaw pension coverage and wrote the Retire with Money newsletter twice a week. Previously, she covered retirement and health care for MarketWatch.

She began her journalistic career covering the aftermath of 9/11 in Lower Manhattan for a local weekly newspaper and holds a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.
