That May holiday is upon us, and whether you are dancing around a maypole or enjoying a few extra hours of kip, there are definitely many of us who get the best out of the day.

When May 1st falls on a weekend, we celebrate the holiday next Monday – this year it falls d. Monday, May 2nd.

Some may be hoping to call some friends for a sunny BBQ, but can you still walk into the stores and stock up on burger buns, bottles of beer or even just what you need?

Here’s when Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Argos are open on weekends.

Of course, each store may have different opening hours – so you are always advised to check the Tesco store finder to see when your nearest store is open.
