Sheikha Maitha bint Ahmed bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of the Maitha bint Ahmed Al Nahyan Foundation for Community and Cultural Initiatives, and a number of Foundation members and volunteers affiliated with the Foundation participated in volunteer work in the team that distributed meals to fasting people who part of the “Breaking the Fast” initiative implemented by Crescent Authority Emirates ed.

Sheikha Maitha bint Ahmed bin Mubarak Al Nahyan distributed Iftar meals as she was part of the foundation’s volunteer team and participants in the initiative, affiliated with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, and provided meals for motorists and people passing by at the designated locations. Sheikha Maitha contributed to two days within three days of the Foundation’s contribution in different regions and expressed her wishes for safety and well-being for motorists during the distribution of Iftar meals and stressed the importance of complying with road safety checks for road users.

Sheikha Maitha bint Ahmed bin Mubarak Al Nahyan thanked and appreciated Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council of Maternity and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, Honorary President of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, and Hans His Majesty Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representative of the Ruler of the Al Dhafra Region, Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority’s work team, for the humanitarian efforts it makes through charitable initiatives, programs and projects, whether in or outside the country, where the Authority is an ambassador for good and human values ‚Äč‚Äčaround the world, pointing out that the cooperation between the Maitha Bint Ahmed Al Nahyan Foundation for Community and Cultural Initiatives and the Authority will strengthen the voluntary work system and have national humanitarian events and initiatives to succeed.
