Sheikha Maitha bint Ahmed bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of the Maitha bint Ahmed Al Nahyan Foundation for Community and Cultural Initiatives, and a number of the foundation’s members and volunteers affiliated with the foundation, participated in volunteer work in the team that distributed meals to fasting people, as part of the “Breaking the Fast” initiative implemented by the Red Crescent Authority Emirati.
Sheikha Maitha bint Ahmed said: The foundation, through its volunteer arm, the “We Work for Volunteer Work” team, participated in the “Breaking the Fast” initiative, out of giving with love and appreciation during volunteer work, which she was eager for to wear the Red Crescent logo, in appreciation of the role of the Red Crescent of the Emirates. In support of the voluntary process for the people of the Emirates.
She pointed out that the initiative to break the fast is helping to achieve a number of positive effects, especially on the roads.
