Over 60 jobs are currently available in the Aldi budget supermarket in Birmingham and the Black Country. And store managers can earn up to £ 63,000 a year.
Deputy managers, warehouse assistants, caretakers / cleaning staff and store manager apprentices are also all in demand throughout the city. There are jobs up for grabs in Newtown, Sparkbrook, Edgbaston, Selly Oak, Bordesley Green, Kingstanding, Hall Green and Bearwood just to name a few.
Both permanent and time-limited positions are offered. Shop assistants are paid between £ 10.10 and £ 11 per hour. While Aldi is also looking to recruit executives who could earn a salary of between £ 48,490 and £ 63,245 pro rata.

The ad for the store manager reads: “If you like the idea of running a multi-million pound store and inspiring your team to be proud of all that you have accomplished together, you will find this a hugely rewarding role.
“One day you may find yourself sorting deliveries, placing orders, and scheduling hours to meet operational efficiency goals. The next, you may be focused on personnel management and performance, handling customer inquiries, or performing random checks.
“And all the while, you will be pursuing the overall goal of maximizing sales in your store, ensuring good customer service, minimizing costs and optimizing operating efficiency. Our store managers are passionate about doing well; motivating and developing their teams to deliver excellent customer service.
“You must be: An experienced human resources manager; Accustomed to leading teams in a fast-paced, stakeholder / customer-driven environment; Proficient in time management, cost control and increased operational efficiency; Motivated to consistently achieve goals. Please note, the salary shown is based on a “48 hours of contract per week. Aldi is also able to offer 40 and 45 hours of contracts, in which case the salary offered will be proportionate.”
