While the NFL has four intriguing divisional-round playoff matchups set for this weekend, one of them — the Buffalo Bills versus the Baltimore Ravens — stands out as the marquee game of the four.
This game will pit the league’s two MVP candidates — quarterbacks Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson — as well as Ravens star running back Derrick Henry versus Bills running back James Cook, both of whom scored a league-high 16 rushing touchdowns in the regular season.
The game will take place in Buffalo, and according to AccuWeather, the daytime high there on Sunday will be a chilly 20 degrees, which means players will need to take certain precautions.
Jackson was asked if he will wear gloves for Sunday’s game, and he said he won’t while poking fun at Detroit Lions backup QB Teddy Bridgewater, per Sarah Ellison.
Lamar Jackson scoffed at the suggestion of wearing gloves: “Naaaaahhhh. I tried it in practice. I was horrible. I’ll leave that to Teddy Two Gloves.” 😂pic.twitter.com/i4vx6lI3bY

Many are calling this game between the Bills and Ravens a Super Bowl-worthy matchup, and the winner will then likely face the Kansas City Chiefs, who will play the Houston Texans in the divisional round, with a trip to the actual Super Bowl at stake.
Jackson has followed up his MVP season a year ago with a truly sensational year in which he threw for 4,172 yards and 41 touchdowns while adding 915 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
The arrival of Henry has taken a tremendous amount of pressure off of him and has allowed him to focus more on throwing the football downfield than having to look to take the initiative himself to move the chains.
