Two of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters reached out to E! Network leaders in December 2016 to express concern over the tumultuous relationship between their brother Rob Kardashian and his then-fiancé Blac Chyna, as well as the future of the couple’s spinoff show, “Rob & Chyna”.

Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian both sent separate emails to the network following an alleged physical altercation between Rob Kardashian and Chyna in December 2016, urging E! to cancel the couple’s reality show after its first season.

Chyna, whose legal name is Angela White, is demanding $ 100 million in compensation from Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. She claims they unfairly trash-talked her into E! leaders five years ago after her split with Rob Kardashian, which led to the cancellation of her “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” spinoff series. Kardashian-Jenners denies these allegations.

In court Monday, lawyers for both Chyna and Kardashian-Jenner read parts of the two emails that Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian sent on December 20, 2016, in which both women expressed their “strong” desire that E! cancel the couple’s show.

“We all know movies are not my favorite, but I will sacrifice and give you episodes and stories,” wrote a then 19-year-old Kylie Jenner, assuring recipients of the email that her sisters would also increase their screen time to compensate for lack of content due to cancellation of “Rob & Chyna”.

Kylie Jenner also claimed in her email that the “only reason” Chyna was with Rob was because of the TV show, saying that the continuation of the series would only continue to give “this toxic woman” more money.

“She does not love him,” Jenner wrote. “If we really all love Rob, we need to come together and protect him.”

The youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister took a stand on Monday and told a jury in LA that she did not believe Chyna’s love for her half-brother was genuine, suggesting that the exotic dancer who had become a model had a relationship with Rob in response. to Kylie begins a relationship with rapper Tyga, the father of Chyna’s child.

In a separate email sent the same day, Khloe Kardashian expressed similar concerns to E! leaders.

“The sisters are clearly concerned about our brother’s safety and the brand’s credibility,” Khloe Kardashian wrote, saying Chyna and Robs’ published problems “tarnished” the family’s image.

Emails came in the testimony of Jeff Olde, former Vice President of Development and Programming at E! which played a significant role in getting “Rob & Chyna” green in the beginning.

Olde told the court that the network’s decision not to resume “Rob & Chyna” for another season was based on the fact that the couple had gone hard apart and no longer provided the “fun, light-hearted” entertainment that the show had been based on. on – not because of input from other Kardashian family members.

“I do not really take instructions from 17-year-olds,” Olde said, referring to a teenager Kylie Jenner.

Olde testified that the network and the Kardashian family agreed to roll Rob Kardashian and Chyna’s stories into “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” which planned the series to show the couple’s counseling journey. Olde said that if the two had eventually been reunited, everyone involved would be open to renewing “Rob & Chyna” for another season.

Monday marked the start of the second week of the trial, which has already evoked several sensational moments after testimony from Chyna, Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner and several others.
