Indiana mother dies after BBL and tummy tuck surgery in Dominican Republic

This is so sad. Shacare Terry described as a loving mother to her two-year-old and proud owner of daycare Minnie Blessings in Paradise on the east side of Indianapolis by her twin sister. Unfortunately, her twin will never hear from her again. The 31-year-old traveled this month from Indiana to the Dominican Republic with a close friend for cosmetic surgery and ended up dying.

Shacare Terry turned out sick after BBL and tummy tuck on FaceTime

According to WRTV, Terry traveled to the Dominican Republic in April with his childhood friend, Carlesha Williams. Her sister Sharae Terry says she knew something was not right after FaceTime with her sister a few days after her surgery and she did not look like the sister she knew.

“I knew something was wrong. I knew it in my heart.”

Friend saw Shacare Terry’s health decline

Carlesha Williams and Shacare underwent surgery for a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) and tummy tuck. Both of their surgeries were performed by Dr. Jose Desena at the Instituto Medico San Lucas during the tour. Williams was still in a lot of pain on the second day, but noticed that Shacare was fighting more than she did.

“I moved around a lot more, and Share did not really move around; she did nothing, ”Williams said. “She would lie in bed. I would try to get her to go down and eat with me, and she just did not respond well.”

The next day, the doctor stunned Terry after observing that she was struggling with complications from the surgery. They told her friend that she was resting when she asked why she looked stunned.

“When we go in there and see her, I almost fell out. She was on all these machines… did not respond; she did not speak, closed her eyes. “

The doctor reportedly told Williams that Shacare was “fine” and that her body just needed rest after BBL and tummy tuck. Terry’s health reportedly took an even faster turn in the following days. Williams said she was told Shacare was having trouble breathing independently and needed dialysis.

By that time, Williams had already contacted Terry’s family about what was going on, and Shacare’s mother called the clinic for skewed answers about her daughter’s condition. On April 21, Terry was confirmed dead in a statement to WRTV.

“We can confirm the death of a U.S. citizen in the Dominican Republic. We provide all appropriate assistance to the family. Out of respect for the family in this difficult time, we have no further comment.”

Super sad, she must rest in peace.
