In light of recovery .. UAE prepares mosques and chapels for Eid Al-Fitr prayers

The General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, with all the emirates of the country, has begun its preparations for mosques and Eid chapels, preparing them to receive worshipers and enabling them to perform the blessed Eid al-Fitr prayer with comfort and spirituality and keep pace with the joy of this occasion in the light of the recovery the country is witnessing from the Corona pandemic.

His Excellency Mohammed Saeed Al Neyadi, Director General of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, praised the great support of the Authority from His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “May God protect him”, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “May God protect him.” His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces, and their brothers, Your Highnesses, the rulers of the Emirates, and send them their greatest congratulations on this happy occasion, praying to God to give them a good health and well-being and about giving this opportunity back to the people of the Emirates and the whole world with goodness and blessing and security.

Al Neyadi reaffirmed the authorities’ eagerness for the safety of worshipers and the creation of an ideal environment that enables them to carry out their prayers with peace and ease, indicating that the authority has made all its arrangements and plans in mosques and chapels to keep Eid al-Fitr prayer rituals, as the doors to chapels and mosques will be opened for Eid prayer after dawn prayer on Eid Day, provided the external speakers are opened to broadcast the Eid takbeer half an hour before the prayer, and the entrance and exit of Worshipers will be monitored in collaboration with volunteers to avoid overcrowding, encourage compliance with the precautions followed in mosques by wearing a mask, and apply a physical distance between worshipers with a distance of one meter, making sure to use a personal blanket. Pray to God to make it a happy and blessed Eid for all.
