Royal family fans will already know that Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born on May 6th.
Yep, Prince Harry and Meghan’s eldest child is celebrating his birthday today – probably with mom, dad and little sister Lili in the family home in California.
They grow up so fast, don’t they? But how old will Archie be? And is he queuing for the throne?
Here’s what we know.
How old is Archie Mountbatten-Windsor?
Archie turns three on Friday, May 6 – when he was born in 2019.
He is two years older than his sister Lilibet Diana, nicknamed Lili, who was born in 2021 and turns 4 on June.
We last saw the red-haired royal Archie on a holiday card from December 2021, which depicted the family of four adorned in blue denim and casual shirts, smiling at baby Lili.
Archie is Prince Charles’ fourth granddaughter and Her Majesty The queen’s eighth great-grandchild.
He is the nephew of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, and cousins of Prince George (8 years), Princess Charlotte (seven) and Prince Louis (four).
Is Archie Mountbatten-Windsor in line with the British throne?
Like his father, Archie is inherited.
He is seventh in line, followed by Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and Prince Harry, who are sixth in line.
After Archie, Lili takes eighth place, followed by Prince Andrew in ninth place, Princess Beatrice in 10th place, her daughter Sienna in 11th, then Princess Eugenie and her son August.

Currently, Archie is not a prince and does not have a royal title, but is addressed as Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.
One day he will inherit his father’s titles The Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel.
