India’s largest consumer goods producer, Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) had a 8.5 percent year-on-year increase in its independent net profit of Rs 2,327 crs in the quarter ended March 31, 2022. The Indian entity in the UK consumer goods giant Unilever had announced a net profit of Rs 2,143 crore in the period of the year ago.
The company’s revenue from operations increased 10.4 percent to Rs 13,190 compared to Rs 11,947 in the corresponding quarter last fiscal year, according to a regulatory application.
Furthermore, HUL also stated that its board of directors has recommended a final dividend of Rs 19 for the financial year ending March 31,

Shares in HUL closed 1.18 percent lower on Wednesday to Rs 2,144.25 each on BSE.
