Future unveils the title and cover image for its ninth studio album

After announcing the release date of his upcoming ninth studio album earlier this month, Future took to social media on Monday to finally reveal the project’s official cover image and title.

“Album title: I NEVER LIKED YOU,” he wrote on Instagram during the official artwork, which sees the topping rapper slumber in the back seat of a luxury vehicle while wearing a maroon suit and a matching sleeping mask.

I never liked you comes as a follow-up to Future’s solo project in 2020 High Off Life and his collaborative album with Lil Uzi Vert, Pluto x Baby Pluto, which was published the same year. Earlier in 2022, Future made two guest appearances at Gunna’s DS4Everfor the tracks “Too Easy” and “Pushin P”, and released a music video for his own single, “Worst Day.”

Details about Future’s upcoming album are still sparse, although the artist suggested that the project may include appearances from Babyface Ray and FKA twigs.

The future I never liked you will be released on April 29.

Elsewhere in the music, a Super Bowl ball signed by Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Eminem and more at auction.
