Ford rushes out of the F-150 Lightning to win a share of the electricity market

Ford Motor the first all-electric F-150 pickup truck began rolling off the assembly line on Tuesday, marking a major step in the company’s move toward electrification.

Getting the plant started will be the easy part. Like other car companies, Ford continues to face difficulties in obtaining parts, especially semiconductors, which are important for automobile manufacturing, launching the new truck during one of the most annoying periods for the automotive industry’s complex supply chain for years.
