Fatima Al-Ali emphasized the Emirates Women’s Sports Federation’s determination to support the UAE’s participation in all sporting events and its sincere efforts to support the women’s teams and meet their needs.
She appreciated the support and presence of His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, First Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee and Head of the Executive Office, who opened the session and his great encouragement to the members of the delegation, whether players, administrators or technicians, which gave a strong boost and brought joy to everyone.
She praised the role of the National Olympic Committee and its great efforts to provide all means of support to the UAE teams participating in the tournament to come out of UAE sports in an honorable manner by reaping more achievements to be added. record of the successes of Emirati sons and daughters and to motivate and qualify them to participate strongly in the upcoming Asian and global competitions.
On her part, Kholoud Buharoun, a member of the Emirates Women’s Sports Federation, confirmed that the federation, led by Her Excellency Noura Al Suwaidi, General Secretary of the General Women’s Union, President of the Emirates Federation for Women’s Sports, is working to establish an approach based on supporting , develop and promote best practices for the promotion of women’s sports in the UAE, which contribute to creating an appropriate and incubating environment for Emiratis’ abilities and potentials in all sports.
She pointed out that the Emirati girls have always been up to the challenge, insisting on representing the Emirates in a manner befitting the great development achieved in women’s sports under the patronage and encouragement of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President for the General Women’s Union, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairman of the Family Development Foundation “Umm”.
