Emirates News Agency – Abdullah bin Zayed and Dmitriy Kuleba discuss bilateral relations and developments in the Ukrainian crisis by phone

ABU DHABI, August 12 / WAM / HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during a telephone call with His Excellency Dmitry Kuleba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the opportunities for joint cooperation and ways to strengthen them in different areas.

The two sides reviewed the latest developments in the Ukrainian arena, as well as a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.

During the phone call, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the agreement recently signed in Istanbul between the Republic of Ukraine, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Turkey with the participation of the United Nations to allow the export of grain through the Black Sea to global markets, which reiterates the UAE’s full readiness to support the effort. All efforts have been made to find a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine and a political solution to the crisis.
