‘El Topo in the room!’ Trailer for Ethereal French Sci-Fi movie ‘After Blue’

“When she comes here, you’ll have to shoot her.” Altered Innocence has unveiled the American trailer for a French sci-fi movie called After Blue (Dirty Paradise), which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival in 2021. It also starred at the Toronto Film Festival, Fantastic Fest, Beyond Fest and Busan. Everything about it sounds fascinating. A chimerical future on After Blue, a planet in another galaxy, a virgin planet where only women can survive amidst the harmless flora and fauna. The story follows a punitive expedition to the planet. Seductive, ethereal, bizarre … A kaleidoscopic fantasy distorted through the lens of a 1970s sci-fi western, After Blue is a synthetic siren song for the freaks of the future and the past, “it says in a review. The PR people add:” the latest vision from Bertrand Mandico (The wild boys) plays like a lesbian The mole (in the room!) with breathtaking 35mm practical effects in the camera, above-ground scenery and a dazzling score from Pierre Desprats. ” Elina Lowensohn, Vimala Pons, Agata Buzek& Paula Luna. This looks so cool.
