Dog rescue: Video captures 2 dogs being rescued on the North Freeway

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – It took first aiders at least 45 minutes to rescue two dogs stranded along the North Freeway.

Houston TranStar cameras captured the moments first aiders rescued the two dogs just after noon. 10 Saturday.

The dogs walked on the HOV tracks on the North Freeway near North Main, but it is still unknown how long they were out there.

METRO police officers blocked traffic and were able to keep the dogs within barriers.

First aiders were able to safely catch both dogs.
