If you did not catch these two cameos, we have them a screenshot for you below. In the midst of the many multiverses that Strange seems to have broken into, he has managed to find Peggy Carter as Captain Carter and already teased Charles Xavier, in at least one of their many iterations. Granted, the clip is only 10 seconds long and fairly fast, so this first screenshot is a bit blurry.

Captain Carter's shield

It’s clearly Captain Carter’s shield. In a few universes, Peggy Carter picked up the shield during World War II instead of Steve Rogers, first in Marvel Puzzle Quest game and then eventually as part of Saladin Ahmed and Javier Rodriguez’s Exile cartoon. This version of Peggy was brought into the spotlight in Marvel’s animated films What if…? anthology last year.

We have heard a voice in previous trailers which was confirmed to be Sir Patrick Stewart himself, and repeats his role as Professor X. What cinches it is this yellow mobility aid that looks very much like the canary yellow rocking chair that Charles Xavier used the comics, but also, most notably, in the 90s X-Men: The Animated Series.

In addition to this short teaser a longer clip of one minute was released for IMDB.

Interesting to note that America Chavez, in the first few seconds of this clip, actually running into the bus as it is being destroyed by Gargantos. Since it looks like the bus is empty by the time Strange opens it with his magic tutting routine, I would risk guessing that America beat all civilians to safety while Strange figured out what to do about it decided monster-of-water Gargantos. If you want to read more about the scene, you can check out our description of it and the rest of the first 20 minutes of the movie after Disney showed it at CinemaCon yesterday.

Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness and its countless cameos hit theaters on May 6th.
