Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Whether it’s because of its delicious taste or the ease and speed of its preparation, many people resort to buying ready-made soup during Ramadan. However, it is preferable to minimize it.
The Saudi Food and Drug Administration indicated in a tweet on Twitter that the ready-made soup is high in salt.
Therefore, it is preferable to replace it with healthier options and prepare the soup at home.
Instead of buying the types of instant soups that are spread in shops and supermarkets, the authority recommends preparing types of soups like oats and lentils at home as they are healthier.
