DC police identify Erica Graham as a woman who was killed shot by a police officer

A woman who DC police say was armed with a gun and behaved irregularly when she was fatally shot by officers early Saturday has been identified as Erica Graham, 42, from northwest Washington.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly before noon. 6 a.m. in the 800 block of Crittenden Street NW, where they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound in one of her arms, authorities said. While officers gave her first aid, other officers encountered Graham on a nearby porch, where she was armed with a semi-automatic pistol and broken windows, according to police.
