After Cooper Raiff’s Cha Cha really smooth was picked up by Apple TV + for $ 15 million after its debut at the Sundance Film Festival, Raiff is setting up his next project. Deadline has reported that Stranger Things star David Harbor will star Trasherne as Jimmy Galante, is said to be one of the inspirations for The sopranos.

Trasherne will tell about the rise and fall of Jimmy Galante, a waste magnate from Connecticut and partner in the Genovese crime family. He later bought his teenage son (AJ Galante) a minor-league hockey team and let him manage it. The team “became known for their harsh and violent playing style, but also developed a wide fan base as they began to win more and more games.All that success and fame came to an abrupt end when Jimmy Galante was arrested on 72 charges. It would do that. Cooper Raiff will instruct Trasherne based on a manuscript by Adam R. Perlman, with current revisions by Raiff. As the film is based on his life story, AJ Galante is on board as an associate producer. Production on Trasherne starts in the fall, and Raiff is excited to work with David Harbor.

I feel so lucky to work with David. He’s a great actor and the perfect Jimmy Galante because he’s really cool and impossibly hot. He is also the best person and I hope he reads this and knows that I will be friends with him forever.

In addition to instructing Cha Cha really smooth, Cooper Raiff also plays alongside Dakota Johnson. He plays a directionless college graduate in New Jersey who comes across him in a relationship with a young mother and her autistic teenage daughter while working on a job starting a bar and bat mitzvahs by his younger brother’s classmates. The film premieres on Apple TV + d June 17, 2022. As for David Harbor, he will next be seen in the fourth season of Stranger Things which premieres on Netflix d May 27, 2022.
