Consumer brands are pushing for tax deductions for clean energy

More than 40 companies, including consumer brands such as Airbnb Lift Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and IKEA urges Congress to pass federal energy legislation to provide additional financial incentives for clean energy projects such as wind farms and photovoltaic plants.

In a letter to lawmakers Tuesday, the companies said federal spending on such projects would help reduce energy costs for U.S. companies, along with their employees and customers.
