Today’s announcement does not go so far as to tell what type of game Cobra Kai 2 will be, but the easy assumption is that it continues exactly where the original game left off. The 2020 release was a side-scrolling 2D beat ’em up with visual flair right out of the 1980s and was almost unanimously panned. Hopefully the developers can copy it in this new game, but we’ll have to wait for some screenshots or a teaser trailer to be sure.
