Civilians are suffering while the fight for Mariupol continues

The UN continues to try to mediate an evacuation of civilians from the ruins of Mariupol, a southern port city that Russia has been trying to conquer since it launched its special operation in Ukraine more than nine weeks ago. (April 30)
