Business Insider hires Torrence to cover digital health

Business Insider has hired a Fierce Healthcare reporter Rebecca Torrence to cover digital health.

She starts May 9th.

Torrence currently covers healthcare technologies and the companies innovating at Fierce, following a range of issues from cybersecurity and artificial intelligence to telesealth and remote patient monitoring. She has previously written about the coronavirus pandemic for Bloomberg News and the Tampa Bay Times.

Torrence graduated from Duke University with a BS in neuroscience and currently lives in Washington.
