This season has been much more difficult than the last for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Additionally, a lot has changed for the team, but more modifications could be on the horizon in the summer.
Speaking on his podcast, via Grant on X, Bill Simmons predicted that the Timberwolves will lose two stars this offseason: Naz Reid and Donte DiVincenzo.
He said Reid is almost officially gone and will sign a new deal with a different team, while DiVincenzo will also find another home in the league.
Where will that leave the Timberwolves, who are already grappling with a lot of change?

Minnesota is the seventh seed in the West with a 36-29 record.
While that isn’t awful, it is important to remember they were the third seed last year and held a 56-26 record when the season came to an end.
Of course, the Timberwolves’ roster was shaken up last summer when they lost Karl-Anthony Towns, who moved to the New York Knicks.
That loss definitely hurt them, although it’s not the only cause of their step-back this season.
This is DiVincenzo’s first season with the Timberwolves, so losing him wouldn’t require a massive adjustment even though he is averaging 11.5 points per game.
As for Reid, he has been a huge part of the team since the 2019-20 season and has averaged 11.6 points and 4.9 rebounds during that time and was named Sixth Man of the Year last season.
Reid is a really important member of the Timberwolves roster but reporting has suggested that he is ready to move on and try his luck with another team.
The Timberwolves have not adjusted well to the changes they went through last summer, so will losing these two players hurt them even more?
