You probably thought North London won the Super Sunday after both Arsenal and Tottenham saw off the weekend’s action with convincing victories. You thought wrong.

During the Gunners’ 5-2 win at Goodison Park, a bally Everton ballboy managed to get one over the millions of viewers who watched by bringing the ‘circle game’ back.

Mesut Özil played the lead role when Arsenal stormed to an away win after Wayne Rooney’s opener, but it was this Everton ballboy who really stole the show.

For those unfamiliar with the ‘circle game’, this is what children did about 15 years ago to justify knocking the shit out of each other before they were inevitably put in jail – beat it up, old people.

After forming an ‘OK’ sign below one’s waist, one is ‘allowed’ to hit the person looking at the sign on the shoulder.

It is believed that the game spread after appearing on ‘Malcolm in the Middle’

A number of football fans spotted the youngster’s prank behind Alexis Sanchez’s back and took to social media to pay tribute to his cajones. Troy Deeney certainly approved.

All those who caught sight of the ballboy’s antics in Goodison Park can expect it to knock on the door in the coming days. You owe a blow.

Nor any squeal. These are the rules.
