A commuter delayed frustrated train passengers as he fell asleep across two seats and caught his head in the armrest.
The bizarre incident was filmed on the Roca line in the eastern Argentine province of Buenos Aires on Monday.
The commuter, who has not been named in local media, was unable to turn his head free after being driven off during his commute.
Pictures show his head sticking out in the hallway while other confused travelers watch.
Despite twists and turns, he was unable to push his head back from under the metal armrest.
The train was reportedly delayed for 20 minutes while the jammed train passenger was rescued.
Video of the incident was posted online by Juan Andres, who was on the train at the time.
He said the man was eventually freed from the armrest.
Social media users had a lot to say about the man’s unfortunate nap.
Many were amused by his predicament, with one person saying they ‘could not stop laughing’ at Andres’ video.
Others were confused about how the man got his head placed under the tight metal armrest in the first place,
However, not everyone saw the funny side, and several said they had empathy for the commuters who were held up on the train.
One said, ‘Can you imagine coming to work and being asked why you come too late to just have to give that answer? Your boss’s face would be like “are you cheating on me or what?”.
