America’s parents just want our culture back

Across the country, we are seeing a movement to regain our culture take hold. This revolt is provoked by the violent attacks of the far left on our everyday lives.

Regardless of political affiliation, several bridges are too far for most Americans who just want the government to look after their own cause so they can raise their children and live their lives.

The late Andrew Breitbart was the first to warn that “politics is downstream from culture.”

PARENTS SPEAK, AFTER SARASOTA SCHOOL SIGNIFICANCE SHOCKS HER WHAT SHE “WOULD LIKE TO SAY”

His warning came more than ten years ago. He foresaw what most of us could not recognize – until now.

The first domino that fell in this cultural recapture happened without a doubt in the Commonwealth of Virginia, where I live. It was mainly led by parents who are politically color-blind but culturally very aware of a government that overplayed its hand with blurred science, intrusive political mandates and ultimately put a match to our education system.

The result – the election of Gov. Glenn Youngkin, the first Republican to win nationwide since 2009.

Consider the status quo shaken.

Virginia has often been an indicator of how the country will fare in the midterm elections. Culturally, however, there is no doubt that the tea leaves have already been read.

From Florida to San Francisco – no it’s not a typo – business as usual is being challenged and the cultural foundation is starting to crack.

In San Francisco, voters overwhelmingly recalled three school board members recently for choosing their extreme liberal agenda over children under COVID.

Last week in purple Wisconsin, conservatives swept three seats on the Waukesha School Board with parental rights, academic performance after COVID and got Critical Race Theory out of the classroom.

Also last week, Kenosha, Wisconsin switched from blue to red, electing a Republican leader for the first time since at least 1998 – it’s so long ago, people can not even say for sure how long.

Kenosha was a hot spot for Black Lives Matter riots after the shooting down of Jacob Blake in 2020. The city raised a bill totaling at least $ 50 million in damages. Who knows, maybe people will not want their city set on fire?

And it turns out that the majority of Florida Democrats support the state’s new law on parental rights – you know, the law that says schools are not allowed to teach kindergarten children in kindergarten through third grade.

Who is against NOT teaching five-year-olds about sex and sex? It turns out that it is only people with an agenda to indoctrinate instead of educating your children.

The rest of us want them to learn to read and write. And if we could teach them common math instead of Common Core, that would be really good.

Hard to believe there is so much Democrat support for this law given the uber-left story that children will die. Has anyone overplayed their hand?

They have a lot at stake with their war of indoctrination – seven hours a day, five days a week with our children all to themselves. It’s too hard for parents to program it, and they know it. Therefore, their propaganda machine is working overtime. Even Democrats see through it.

The suburbs, especially the women of the suburbs, played a significant role in President Biden’s promotion to president in 2020, as well as the victories of other Democrats.

It has taken us years to reach this societal crossroads. Although the tide may change, we still have a long way to go to regain our culture.

Suburban women are some of the key figures in the front lines of the culture war, the question is whether they are still blindly pledging allegiance to the Democrats in November?

I’ve talked to women in my extremely liberal county who have said they voted for Biden, but they voted for “centered, Uncle Joe,” we were all sold. They certainly did not vote for the Joe Biden they got.

They feel cheated and with good reason. In just over a year, it’s hard to imagine anything else that President Biden could have done to appease his friends on the far left in the culture war. Biden even weighed in on the Florida clap and supported public education in sex and gender identity for kindergarten children.

He has chosen them over the American people every single time, making life worse for everyone across the board.

Not only have our schools become indoctrination camps instead of classrooms, but intrusive COVID restrictions that have nothing to do with public health or science are harming our children and harming our lives, our borders are wide open, and Biden has bowed to calls from the left to defund the police before making a mea culpa and calling for funding for the police this year – because, well election season and polls.

We are no longer energy dependent because his friends from the left are allergic to fossil fuels, so we are all going to pay more at the pump, and inflation is the highest it has been in 40 years.

This is just Cliff Notes on his successes in failure.

Even the most loyal Trump supporters could never have predicted to what extent this president would “make America worse” – and how quickly he would do so.

There is no doubt that there is quite a bit of buyer remorse, and if the Democrats lose in November, make no mistake, there will be no price correction for the party now led by the radical left.

But if Republicans succeed in November, we can not forget Andrew Breitbart’s words: “Politics is downstream from culture.”

In other words, the struggle to take back our culture will not be over, it will only have just begun. An emphatic rejection in November of left-wing madness would be an impressive, resounding first victory in that battle.
