Tracey Gold, Catherine Hicks

Three actresses, Uma Thurman, Katharine McPheeand Megan Hiltyeach took their turn as the legendary star of the 2012 TV series Smash. The show, which lasted for two seasons, was about the staging of the fictional Marilyn Monroe musical called Bomb.
Michelle Williams mastered the breathtaking, ethereal Marilyn in the 2011 film My week with Marilyn which told the story of a very special week in the time when Marilyn made the 1957 film The prince and the showgirl. The story also came along Eddie Redmayne as the naive but ambitious Colin Clarke who worked as a production assistant at Laurence Olivier-produced image. Anne of arms is the latest actress to take on the role of Marilyn in the film adaptation of the author Joyce Carol Oats‘2000 historical novel Blonde, which tells of the imaginary inner life of the epic star. Ana recently told Sunday Times about the “hard” work it took to step into the shoes of the deceased actresses for the role, and work on perfecting her signature, airy voice.
