“Abu Dhabi Environment”: Saadiyat gazelles are naturally present and we are working to transfer them

The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi on Friday urged not to be exposed to deer present on Saadiyat Island and other areas, noting that they have been naturally present in these areas for some time, and is working to relocate them after have circulated a number of videos of them on social media.
The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi said through its account on “Twitter”: “Regarding the widespread videos of the number of deer present on Saadiyat Island and other areas, the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi reports that these deer have been present in these areas naturally for a while and the teams from the Competent Authority are currently working on moving them to areas suitable for their environments.
The authority urged the public to be cautious and not to be exposed or disturbed, and to inform the authority if detected by communicating through the Government Communications Office 800555.
