Abdullah Al-Marri honors “Takatuf” partners

His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, honored the charities and associations, partners in the “Takatuf” initiative implemented by the Board of Police Stations with the aim of promoting community partnership, tolerance and brotherhood among all sections of society and promoting safe driving on the roads to maintain the safety of motorists and road users during the holy month.
This happened during the Iftar ceremony hosted by the Dubai Police General Command at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in the presence of Dr. Hamad bin Sheikh Ahmed Al Shaibani, Director General of the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charities, Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Criminal Investigation, Directors and Representatives of Charities and a number of officers.
His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Al Marri praised the fruitful cooperation with various charities in the emirate, which greatly influenced the success of the “Takatof” initiative, and underlined the zeal of the Dubai police to build bridges for permanent cooperation with these charities, and to strengthen the joint cooperation with them, especially in projects and humanitarian initiatives, to reach its strategic directions in order to make society happy.
For his part, Brigadier General Abdullah Khadem Suroor Al-Masam, Director of Bur Dubai Police Station and Chairman of the Police Station Board, said the Takatof initiative is one of the initiatives implemented by the Police Station Board, in collaboration with charities to distribute Iftar meals, and it embodies the noble and emirate values. The culture of goodness is consolidated, in addition to educating motorists and road users to be alert and careful, and not to drive recklessly and recklessly to catch up with iftar time, leading to increased road safety.
